Meet your image strategist & coach
I am Sherry Keramidas, PhD, FASAE, CAE, CRP & certified image consultant. It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you, as a first step in building our collaboration. My focus on image and style began early in my life and reappeared as a new professional direction after more than 35 years of serving as an executive and CEO in the health and nonprofit sectors. My passion is to combine my love of image, style and executives leadership experience to empower others to feel confident in how they look and in their presence in professional and personal setting. And that is the essence of Professional Image & Style. I look forward to meeting you.
A little of my history
I loved fashion from a young age. In high school and in part of my college years I had the opportunity to serve on a fashion board with a leading department store and had the opportunity to do some modeling.
But I also loved science and chose that as my career path. I received a PhD in neuroscience and early in my professional career I had the opportunity to transition to the management side of biomedical sciences and the health sector. I attended executive leadership education at two leading graduate business schools and moved into executive leadership and CEO roles for more than 35 years. My work included major corporations, government agencies around the globe, nonprofit associations and academic institutions.
Through my professional evolution I learned that I how show up. fueled my self-confidence and in combination helped to support my professional growth. I learned that I could create my own style- -without the typical corporate suit– and convey a positive image . I even found that incorporating my style everyday–even during the long period of remote working –increased my confidence, and supported by role as a strong leader and guide for our team and stakeholders.
Designing the next stage in my professional and personal life was built around sharing my experience with others–and specifically in helping women to feel confident professionally and personally. I pursued training as an executive and leadership coach, in reinvention professional (including personal reinvention) and finally in image consulting.
In addition to my executive positions, I am proud to bring several other experiences including: being a certified association executive (CAE), a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives (FASAE), a Certified Reinvention Professional (CRP), a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) with several additional coaching certifications, and a certified image consultant. I have served on the boards of over 30 organizations and made more then 350 presentations, including keynotes around the globe.
